Dana (Dean) Simpson is a professor and educational consultant from the Boston area where he teaches literature, language and writing courses. He received his Masters (MA) and Doctorate (DML) from Middlebury College (in the USA and Spain), as well as a Masters in Higher Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He has taught in Spain, South Korea, the U.S., Thailand, Malaysia and China. His research interests include Vanguard and Symbolist poetry, European Medieval Studies, Feminist Studies, Second Language Acquisition and Innovation in Teaching. He has published numerous poems and articles in literary journals in Spain and Latin America. His fourth book of poetry in Spanish, Retrato en sepia (Verbum Editorial) is his most recent book.
