Academic Career:
Howard Chiang is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of California, Davis. He received his Ph.D. in history from Princeton University. He is the author of eleven books including After Eunuchs: Science, Medicine, and the Transformation of Sex in Modern China (Columbia University Press, 2018), which received in the 2019 International of Convention of Asia Scholars Humanities Book Prize.
