Jinan University

Summer/Fall Session

Program Description

Jinan University Summer and Fall Sessions offer over 50 courses per session, in a wide variety of disciplines, and each session lasts 5 weeks. Students from all around the world attend Jinan University Summer and Fall Sessions, and a big portion of students are visitors (non-Jinan University students).

By opening our doors to visiting students and continuing our service to Jinan University students, we support the University's goals of educating a broad and diverse student population. Our commitment to providing superior experience and unrivaled learning opportunities extends to our students, campus units and departments, and all external partners.

Course Format and Academic Standards

All the courses will be offered for 5 weeks and 45-90 contact hours per session. And Jinan University will grant 3-6 credits for each course.

The vast majority of courses offered by Jinan University during the Summer and Fall Sessions are all taught in English, and all the courses are open to our students and non-degree visiting students. Most of the courses are undergraduate level courses. Each student may choose up to three courses during each 5-week program with Jinan University. (Taking four courses will need special permission from the Jinan University Summer and Fall Sessions Admission Office.)

Jinan University Summer and Fall Sessions' course structure, curricular coverage, and course grades are officially credentialed and certified by the Jinan University Registrar's Office, pursuant to the academic oversight, pedagogical quality control, and guarantors of educational rigor provided by this office.
